An investigation having been launched by the Paris prosecutor’s office, Jean-Jacques Bourdin who officiates on BFMTV and RMC, had temporarily been removed from the antenna and replaced by Apolline de Malherbe.

This Monday 20 June 2022, while Cyril Hanouna and his columnists returned to the case in TPMP, Gilles Verdez made a revelation about the sum that the journalist could receive as a result of this dismissal. A substantial sum which would be around 500 000€, according to Gilles Verdez who is always very well informed.
For his part, Jean-Jacques Bourdin reacted with a statement relayed on social networks : “21 years of success on RMC, BFMTV. We are separating, I am so happy to be released, I am leaving for new adventures and I will never forget those who accompanied me. Long live free and independent journalism! !”
